Malta is a recent addition to the EU, but it is quite possible that the population wish they could reverse this decision. One of the primary reasons for this is the EU Human Rights legislation which burdens Malta with looking after illegal immigrants (Malta is pretty close to Libya). It turns out that the illegal immigrants receive lots and lots of benefits and do nothing for them, except breathe. They also steal jobs from locals by accepting peanuts instead of a decent wage. Thus, they are the definitive force of evil. They are lazy and industrious, a killer combination beyond compare. It is amazing that immigrants the world over share such similar characteristics. Let us say nothing about those locals who proceed to pay the immigrants peanuts and get away with it.
Above is all we got to see of the Blue Grotto, because the wind meant that no boat could sail the sea safely. Ah well. You can still see that the water is a beautiful blue, though.
