Baby's first birthday is more a celebration for parents than baby. Baby turning one is a symbolic milestone. It means the new Mum and Dad survived one year. It's not been easy. Their life now, compared to that strange, mystical childless existence twelve months earlier, is so incredibly different.
But they made it. Well done them.
