Kai has had the odd cold or two, and they have never been particularly serious. He gets ill one day and then, pretty much, gets better the next. That is... until recently.
He picked up something nasty just a couple of weeks ago. Within days of returning from our cottage vacation, he got diarrhoea. Then he was throwing up. Then he got a fever. And then he just had fever, and didn't eat. And then he looked like death warmed up, just watched CBeebies all day, coughing and crying his way through the night.
We just wanted normal Kai back, tantrums and all.
