In the full size edition of this photo, you can see the tears still dripping down Kai's cheeks. Moments before this picture was taken, he was bawling his eyes out, going through another tantrum because, oh, something or other. He has tantrums frequently - it's rare to go a day without one at all. Sometimes he looks like he's picking for a fight, waiting for the smallest thing to tip him over the edge and then - kaboom. He tries to throw things, knock things over, swinging his arms around like a toddler-sized Catherine wheel.
He ate some of the chocolate buttons, but after a few he kept spitting them out. Not a big chocolate lover by any means.
