Friday morning, Aki told me I wouldn't be going into work. Contractions had started. Not particularly painful, not regular and spaced far apart.
I expected things to have changed dramatically by the evening. I was wrong.
The contractions managed to close the gap to around 6 minutes but then bounced all the way back to 15-20 minute levels. After a night's sleep, the contractions practically evaporated. Aki could barely feel them any more.
