The Dublinia centre is located in the Synod Hall which is attached to Christ Church Cathedral. The exhibition there is interesting and is a fairly detailed look at local history over centuries past. As you climb up through three floors you eventually reach the shop, which spans the bridge that connects the exhibition to the cathedral. However, to leave via the exit towards the cathedral you need to get the shop owner to open a giant wooden door for you.

This door creaks open and you step forth into the vision above, a stone staircase, much like a descent into a dungeon from childhood fantasy and television memory. The door is closed behind you and there is no turning back. You must go forward.

YOU ARE AT THE ENTRANCE. COLOURFUL LIGHT DANCES THROUGH STAINED GLASS WINDOWS. A STONE STAIRWAY BECKONS BELOW INTO DARKNESS. YOUR SWORD IS GLOWING BLUE AND THERE IS AN ANGRY-LOOKING TROLL HERE. WHAT DO YOU WISH TO DO?
