Aki and her mother explored London mainly but did venture as far as Stonehenge and Bath, as the previous pictures testify. I didn't take any time off so didn't join them on their journey. They broke the first rule of an exploring holiday, which is not to push yourself too hard, too early, because you'll pay for that in later days. And pay they both did, with throbbing legs and weary eyes...
I should say thank you for two things. One, Aki's mother paid for all of the food that night. Two, plenty of very helpful and needed Japanese practice. (Oh and I guess I should've said thanks for the anko delicacies too.)
