Times Square, Christmas 2001.
Perhaps to compete with the Southern Terrace, Times Square lays on something called Illumination Circus. So just opposite Southern Terrace is an electrician's nightmare (see inset).
Illumniation Circus doesn't seem to change from year to year, so Christmas 2002 looked exactly the same.
