Welcome to Mdina, the silent city. It doesn't take too long to get around Mdina, but we managed to stretch the time out with a coffee and cake.
Mdina has something like just 400 inhabitants these days and it's not a real city anymore - it exists for tourism and doesn't really have any identity separate from that. But, being the original capital of Malta, it's still pretty cool to explore.
