Anyway, after the trip which was a lot of fun, we were back in Beckenham and had to find clever ways of getting Kai some hardcore exercise. The holiday had turned him into an atheletic demon with a bottomless reserve of energy. Well done parents.
Aki took him down to Croydon Rec although he was pretty fixated on the train as shown above. As of June 30, Kai still has a train fetish. Thomas the Tank Engine is, apparently, the best. As is yelling "choo-choo" to anything that remotely looks train-like. You cannot help but smile when he escalates his choo-choo to a higher pitch and volume when he thinks no one paid attention.
