I hadn't seen Cappy for around 7 years, not since I left university. In that time, I had started a new life in Japan, while he started a new one in Auckland.
We met up twice while Aki and I were staying in Auckland; the above photo was taken the night before our departure. Indeed, our last night in New Zealand.
So I guess we'll meet up again somewhere in another 7 years time.
