It might sound as though I am disapproving of the sights along the Thames Path, but I thought they made a fantastic raw landscape. I wouldn't want to live beneath the industrial spires of a modern factory, but passing through was fascinating.
And I was also reminded of the synthetic food plants of Quatermass.
