A couple of days ago, I took Aki to Heathrow, so she could catch a plane and abandon her husband for two weeks. Anyway, we opted for the Heathrow Express from Paddington instead of taking the laborious route via the Piccadilly Line.
Comfortable. Fast. Reliable. Such words are not heard together in Britain often, but this can be explained as the Express charges around £15 per trip. Substantially higher than your average tube fare, and the tube fare is not exactly the definition of cheap if you compare it to Japanese subway prices (most inner-city journeys are under a pound). I always make convenient country comparisons when it serves my nefarious purposes.
That's all for this month, see you in April, when I will be another year older.
