Between Lower and Upper Slaughter

We were very surprised recently (the advice is never to use the word "very" when writing because it's meaningless; what's the difference between "surprised" and "very surprised"? Nonetheless, we were very surprised) to discover our car had no ISOFIX anchor points. It's only one year old - I thought all modern cars came with them; they make slotting in your child seats a piece of cake.

We went with a Mamas & Papas alternative known as Surefix which makes greatly simplifies putting in a child seat with seat belts. When you're putting the baby in the car you don't want to have to fight with 15 different clasps to thread the seat belt through.
