We often feel short-changed when a large house calls itself a castle. I mean, come on, every Tom Dick and Garry can see that it's not a castle. Duh!!
Although we knew Sudeley Castle wasn't a castle in the sense that Aki and I acknowledge, we went along anyway. We cared nothing for the castle itself - but we did enjoy the local grounds. It had plenty of interesting artworks, like this mirror reflecty thing, which were worth the price of admission.
