When one of our NCT class gave birth two and a half weeks early, we could no longer pretend that birth was sometime in the distant future. It was in the here and now.
Those who have once been through the experience tell you to get as much sleep as possible right now. But when you realise you're going to have a baby soon and - as the same people keep telling you - nothing will ever be the same again, it's not conducive to a "better sleep, I'll do this tomorrow" attitude.
