After taking many pictures of the ice sculptures, we moved onto the main yuki matsuri display, which had taken over Odori-koen in the centre of Sapporo. If we had thought it had taken a long time to get through the ice sculptures, we were due for a surprise.

I think it took us a couple of hours to get through all of it and that was just the daytime session. We were going to have to do a repeat visit to see the sculptures at night...
