Although I have a guide book telling me not to bother with Kyoto Tower, I found that the views from Kyoto Tower were really good. Of course, this picture doesn't really show that off, only a handsome-looking guy.
It costs around 800 yen and is certainly worth a visit. There are some scarily old exhibits you are forced to pass through on the way down, but don't let them bother you. They won't bite.
